‘Spider-Man’ Actor Salaries Revealed: Who Earned Highest - Tom, Andrew Or Tobey?

With the success of "Spider-Man: No Way Home," fans couldn’t help but wonder how much the other Spider-Man films made and who among Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield received the highest pay for bringing the webslinger to the big screen.

To date, Maguire is the highest-paid Spider-Man actor. He was paid $4 million for portraying Peter Parker in “Spider-Man 1,” which earned $820 million at the box office.

He then negotiated a salary of $17.5 million and 5% of the film's box office gross for the 2004 sequel, “Spider-Man 2,” which raked in $784 million, according to International Business Times.

The actor-producer received $15 million for “Spider-Man 3,” but his earnings are way higher because he also received 7.5% of the film’s gross. The 2007 film grossed a whopping $890 million, making it the most successful film in the series.

The success of his films made Maguire one of the highest-paid actors in the world in the 2000s, with his single-movie paychecks routinely topping $15 million.

Holland only got $250,000 for his first film as Spider-Man, but his paycheck is getting bigger and bigger with each major release of Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) Spider-Man films.

His standalone film, "Spider-Man: Homecoming," earned $880 million.

The “Spider-Man: No Way Home” star reportedly earned a $500,000 base salary for the 2017 film. However, his pay was projected to be as much as $1.5 million due to contractual bonuses.

His income from the second film, “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” is unknown, but the actor likely earned a huge paycheck because the film made over $1 billion at the box office, becoming the top-grossing “Spider-Man” film so far, according to Forbes.

The 25-year-old actor's standard base salary for a single-film appearance to date is $4-$5 million.

The financial success Holland has achieved for being Spider-Man has yet to end since he is expected to receive a hefty paycheck for “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”

The film hit $328 million at the domestic box office on Tuesday, and according to Forbes, it could reach $1 billion in ticket sales on Christmas.

The film could likely be the first and only billion-dollar film this year, as per CNBC.

Meanwhile, Garfield, who portrayed the iconic superhero in the 2012 "The Amazing Spider-Man” and the 2014 “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” also got huge paychecks for his two Spider-Man films.

He was reportedly paid $500,000 for the first film, which brought in a worldwide gross of $757.9 million, and $1 million for the second film, which made $709 million worldwide.
