Spigen Teaser Shows Apple iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus In Rose Gold, Ahead Of Sept. 9 Release Date
The prominent case manufacturer Spigen is back with a new set of cases for the upcoming Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. As it turns out, the new Apple devices will indeed be offered in “Rose Gold” hue, as rumored earlier.
It is worth noting that, case manufacturers usually get the upcoming device related information prior to the actual release date to make sure the cases are released parallel to the device. Spigen has apparently published a teaser showcasing the cases for the upcoming Rose Gold Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus variants. The official teaser says, "A new color has bloomed for iPhone 6s/6s Plus."
However, the Rose Gold color is not new to Apple. The high-end Apple Watch Edition models apparently come in Rose Gold versions as well. But then, the Rose Gold iPhone 6s variants will not come with “real gold” so as to keep the price ambit down, Phone Arena reported. In comparison, the Rose Gold Apple Watch Edition with real gold is reportedly priced in the range of $10,000 and $17,000.
Speaking of iPhone 6s specifications, the handset will apparently come with the strong Series 7000 aluminum chassis to prevent the infamous #BendGate saga from reoccurring. The device will reportedly be powered by Apple A9 chipset and will be backed by 2 GB of RAM configuration. Other key iPhone 6s features are expected to include an improved 12-megapixel rear-facing camera unit, a larger battery unit, Force Touch mechanism and iOS 9.
In addition, Amazon has also listed the Rose Gold version of the Spigen case for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus at a starting price of $16.99. The iPhone 6s is widely expected to be released on Sept. 9, during a special event in San Francisco.
