Stan Lee Cameos: Comic Book Artist Appears In ‘Mighty 7’

Stan Lee's Mighty 7 is out in comic stores, and in it the comic book guru offers a whole new crop of superheroes -- and a cameo from Lee himself.

I myself am very modestly a part of the story, Lee told USA Today.

But he won't possess any powers.

It wouldn't be a 'reality' comic book if I gave myself a super power, because I don't have one, Lee told Reuters.

This isn't Lee's only time making a cameo in his work -- or in an adaptation based on his work. His movie credits include Thor, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, and Hulk.

New names in the Mighty 7 series include High Rise, Laser Lord and Strongarm, Reuters reported.

The new story has been getting mixed reviews from pop culture websites such as ComicBookResources.com and ScienceFiction.com, who do not find Mighty 7 to be among Lee's best works.
