'Star Wars: Episode 9': First Trailer And Panel Discussion At Celebrations Expected
The fans have been eagerly waiting for the first trailer of “Star Wars: Episode 9,” and the long wait may finally be over soon. A first-look video is expected to be released next month at the Celebrations event, and there is now a confirmation that cast member Oscar Isaac will be there as well, suggesting that there will be a panel discussion.
Disney and Lucasfilm have to yet to officially confirm what exactly will be showcased at the Star Wars Celebrations event next month. But reporter Jake Hamilton has confirmed that Isaac, who is reprising his role as Resistance pilot Poe Dameron in the upcoming film, will be attending the event.
A panel discussion with the director JJ Abrams and the cast will be a good opportunity for the team to tease details about the film, like the new planets, and also reveal the first trailer to the fans. New cast members have joined the film, but it remains to be seen if details about their respective characters will be revealed.
Isaac also spoke about “Star Wars: Episode 9” in a recent interview with the Associated Press. The actor confirmed that the movie is not only the end of the sequel trilogy, but it will also mark the end of all nine movies of the Skywalker saga.
Speaking about what it was like to make the film, Isaac said that there was “looseness and excitement” to the production. The fans, according to the cast member, will be “blown away” by what Abrams and his team have managed to create.
The first trailer of the film should give the fans an indication of what’s in store. A time jump is expected in the film, and just like every new film in the continuing “Star Wars” saga, there may be a new unit of soldiers that will be introduced. Making Star Wars previously teased the introduction of a new elite Stormtrooper unit in the film who will be seen in red armor with black stripes.
“Star Wars: Episode 9” will be released on Dec. 20. The cast members of the film include Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Domhnall Gleeson, Mark Hamill and Kelly Marie Tran. Richard E. Grant and Keri Russell are the new cast members of the film.
Abrams is also bringing back the late actress Carrie Fisher one last time on the big screen by using old footage from “The Force Awakens.”
