'Star Wars: Episode 9': Leaked Concept Art Photos Tease Richard Grant Character
There has been a lot of speculation about the character Richard E. Grant will be playing “Star Wars: Episode 9.” So far, the actor has kept mum despite all the rumors. However, thanks to a leaked set of concept art pictures, fans can get a clear view of the actor’s character.

A set of concept art photos that have leaked on Reddit showed some of the characters and their respective costumes in the upcoming film. One of the pictures featured Grant’s costume. Based on the costume, it is clear that the actor is playing an officer in the First Order.
Grant was a guest at the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” show recently, a video of which has been posted on YouTube. Kimmel asked him about the film towards the end of the interview. The actor is only allowed to say that he is in the film and talk about the release date.
Kimmel asked Grant about the name of the character he is playing, and if revealing the name in itself will be spoiler. The actor pretended to not hear him and joked about a team from Disney and Lucasfilm watching his every move.
Grant joked about how he is such a “blabbermouth,” but he doesn’t want to get fired for revealing any secrets about “Star Wars: Episode 9.” The actor hasn’t even told his wife and daughter the name of his character.
No matter what the name of his character is, the concept art pictures revealed that he works for the First Order in “Star Wars: Episode 9.” Some of the other leaked pictures showed the costumes of characters like Rey (Daisy Ridley), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) and Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams).
A report by Making Star Wars noted that the pictures confirmed some of the past leaks about the plot of the film. It was previously revealed that Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), for example, will fix his helmet with some red substance. The pictures showed the red markings on the helmet, confirming that this new Supreme Leader will use his helmet again.
Details related to Dominic Monaghan’s character have also not yet been announced. The pictures showed that the actor will be playing a Resistance Officer.
“Star Wars: Episode 9” is being directed by JJ Abrams. The film will be released on Dec. 20 in the U.S.
