'Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker' Leaks: Kylo Ren And Rey Scene
The recently released concept art for “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” appeared to confirm previous leaks about a major lightsaber duel between Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Rey (Daisy Ridley). This is supposed to be one of the major action sequences in the film and full of visual effects.
The following article contains “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” spoilers.
Lucasfilm will be releasing a book that has the artwork of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” According to the details of the book posted on the official website of the franchise, it will give the fans a behind-the-scenes look at the pre-production and post-production art that was used in the making of the film. The cover art of the book is significant because it hints at a previous leak about Kylo Ren and Rey’s big lightsaber duel.
The picture shows Rey fighting what looks like Kylo Ren’s reflection in the water below. When inverted, the same picture appears to show the villain fighting the Jedi’s reflection. According to Making Star Wars, the picture hints at the “Force Flash Fights” between the two main characters and also teases the “rad insanity” of the visuals the fans can expect in this scene.
There will be a time jump in “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” During this time, both Kylo Ren and Rey are expected to have become more powerful in terms of using the Force. The new Supreme Leader of the First Order is no longer restricted by his former master, while the Jedi has the books she took from the temple in the previous movie. This will make their next clash a more intense fight that may showcase some new abilities each of them have mastered.
According to the leaks about the lightsaber duel by Making Star Wars, the battle will result in the backgrounds changing constantly. Kylo Ren and Rey have become so powerful in “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” that while they fight, the background locations change to different planets that the fans have seen in all the movies that came before. The scene should be a visual journey of the past, to mark the end of the long saga.
