‘Stranger Things’ Star Millie Bobby Brown Remakes Spice Girls’ ‘Wannabe’ With Nicole Kidman, Milo Ventimiglia
“Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown recently starred in a hilarious remake of Spice Girls’ hit song, “Wannabe,” alongside Milo Ventimiglia, James Franco, Nicole Kidman and more.
In W magazine’s reinterpretation video franchise, the publication decided to ask a slew of high-profile actors to join their celebration of the 21st anniversary of “Wannabe.” Despite only being 13 years old, Brown revealed that she’s obsessed with the ‘90s girl group. She is also the first one to sing some lines of the song and dance unapologetically. Other celebrities that were featured in the clip include Kidman’s “Big Little Lies” co-star, Alexander Skarsgard, “Girls” guest star Riz Ahmed, Sanaa Lathan, Brit Marling, Rupert Friend, Johnny Flinn, Claire Foy and Jodie Comer.
But perhaps the best interpretation of “Wannabe” came from Kidman. The Australian actress mixed her performance with a bit of sensuality while uttering the words, “What I really, really want.” In another clip, Kidman said, “Get your act together,” with her beautiful accent.

Meanwhile, other than reinterpreting the song, the actors featured in the short clip also revealed who their favorite Spice Girls member is. Brown said that she loves Sporty Spice so much since she’s also very sporty. But she clarified that she also tends to mix a bit of Posh Spice in her daily wardrobe.
Skarsgard, who played Kidman’s onscreen partner, revealed that Baby Spice was his favorite. When it was Kidman’s turn to share her thoughts, the actress said, “Ah, it would have to be Posh, right? She’s got an amazing life. I wore one of her dresses recently and I was like, oh, this is heaven. It had the whole back out of it.” Kidman was actually talking about fashion designer Victoria Beckham.
Ahmed said that he loves Mel B or Scary Spice the most. “I think Mel B was for me, yeah. She did rock it man. She still does,” he said.
Spice Girls made their debut in the music industry in 1994. At the time, Mel B was only 19 years old, while Beckham and Melanie C were only 20 years old. Geri Halliwell was 21 and Emma Bunton was 18.
