Suicide Bombing Kills Seven in Iraq
A suicide attack in Iraq has killed seven people -- including five police officers -- and wounded more than 30 others outside Baghdad's interior ministry building.
The attack took place during the Monday morning rush hour, when a suicide bombed drove through a security barrier near the building then set off an explosive device, according to Voice of America.
The attack comes on the heels of a string of bombings that left 70 people dead on Thursday in Baghdad.
The attacks cast a spotlight on ongoing concerns about Iraqis' ability to stave off violence and keep the nation safe now that the United States military has wrapped up a troop pullout that began earlier this month.
