The Weeknd's performance at "Super Bowl Halftime" was so incredible and different that many celebrities such as Drake, Sophie Turner and Timothee Chalamet took to social media to congratulate the singer.
Previously, the traditional "Super Bowl Halftime" shows were performed on a large scale as singers such as Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Diana Ross made grand entries.
However, this year's "Super Bowl Halftime" was different as it was the first time an artist couldn't perform from the pitch and had to deliver his performance from the stands due to pandemic safety measures. The performance took place in Raymond James Stadium in Florida, BBC reported.
The 30-year-old Canadian singer's stunning performance awed his fans and celebrities alike. The singer began his performance with "Call Out My Name" and went on to perform popular hits like "I Feel It Coming", "Can't Feel My Face", and "Starboy," ET Online reported.
Drake even posted a couple of videos of the singer's performance on his Instagram stories and tagged The Weeknd. In the final story posted on Instagram, the "Laugh Now Cry Later" star wrote "Big moment of the city."
The Weeknd's concert was also loved by Turner as she took her Instagram story to praise him. The "Game of Thrones" star posted her own smiling picture and thanked the singer for rocking her world.
Dionne Warwick took to Twitter to compliment The Weeknd's performance and wrote that he "looked and sounded great."
Chalamet also took his Instagram story and screamed: "Legend! Legend!" along with video footage of the singer's performance. The 25-year-old actor also added mind blown emojis to further express his emotions.
Boy band Why Don’t We also tweeted about the halftime show and tagged The Weeknd with fire emoji to express their love.
Internet celebrity, Chase Hudson who is popularly known as Lil Huddy also tweeted how "crazy" this half time show was.
More celebs such as Seth Green, Keith Urban, Kat Graham and Nick Carter also praised the singer's phenomenal performance.
Following his stunning performance, The Weeknd celebrated in a parking lot. He posted a story on his Instagram featuring him and his friend holding cigars.
