‘Supergirl’ Season 2 Spoilers: Jeremy Jordan Reveals Winn’s Reaction To Murder Accusation Against Guardian In Episode 7

Winn (Jeremy Jordan) thinks that his and James’ (Mehcad Brooks) nighttime gig as vigilantes will soon come to an end after James’ alter ego, Guardian, is accused of a murder committed by another vigilante in Season 2, episode 7 of “Supergirl.”

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jordan said that the National City Police Department starts looking for Guardian after he is accused of a murder that is actually committed by a copycat. “There’s a sort of vigilante who has basically copycatted Guardian and has started taking the law into his own hands, but taking it a little bit too far and actually killing people,” Jordan told the news outlet. “So, the police and Maggie [Floriana Lima] are out on a hunt for Guardian.”

After learning the news that the authorities are hunting Guardian, Winn immediately fears that he and James are going to get caught if they continue their vigilante work. “Winn is basically like, ‘We gotta get out. We’re done. We tried, and now if we don’t stop, we’re going to jail and we’re both screwed,’” the 31-year-old actor said of how his character will initially react.

At the same time, however, the IT whiz also looks for ways to clear Guardian’s name. “[For instance, Winn] finds Alex [Chyler Leigh] and is like, ‘Hey, you gotta tell your friend Maggie to stop spreading all of this crap about Guardian. That’s not him. He’s a good person. I know he is,’” Jordan said.

While Winn and James deal with the murder accusation against the Guardian, Kara — as revealed in the synopsis for the episode — heads out on a solo mission to rescue Mon-El (Chris Wood), who was captured by CADMUS last episode. As the Girl of Steel fights her way to free the Daxamite, she comes face-to-face with Cyborg Superman.

When asked about what fans can expect from Cyborg Superman’s appearance, Jordan said: “Cyborg Superman is going to either surprise you incredibly or you’ll be like, ‘Oh, I should’ve seen that coming.’ It’s fun. If you know anything about Cyborg Superman in the comics, then you kind of know all you need to know.”

“Supergirl” Season 2, episode 7, titled “The Darkest Place,” airs on Monday, Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
