‘Supergirl’ Season 2 Spoilers: Mr. Mxyzptlk Imitates Superman In Episode 13 Trailer

It looks like Mr. Mxyzptlk (Peter Gadiot) is ready to do anything just to get Kara’s (Melissa Benoist) attention.

At the end of last night’s episode of “Supergirl,” Mr. Mxyzptlk popped up in front of Kara and Mon-El (Chris Wood) and professed his love for the Kryptonian on the spot. Kara was surprised by his declaration of love, but it seems that the magical imp is going to do more outrageous things in next week’s episode of the CW series.

In the trailer for Season 2, episode 13, Mr. Mxyzptlk asks Kara to marry him. Despite producing a sparkly wedding ring and a beautiful bridal gown for her in an instant, Mr. Mxyzptlk is turned down by the Girl of Steel.

Apparently, Mr. Mxyzptlk won’t take no for an answer, so he starts doing more weird stunts and even imitates Kara’s cousin, Superman (Tyler Hoechlin), just to change Kara’s mind.

According to the synopsis for the episode, Mon-El has encountered beings like Mr. Mxyzptlk on Daxam before. And while he knows how dangerous they can be, Kara thinks that Mr. Mxyzptlk is harmless. Kara’s impression of the imp, however, quickly changes when he stars wreaking havoc in National City.

As Mon-El and Kara argue over how to get rid of Mr. Mxyzptlk, Alex and Maggie celebrate their first Valentine’s Day together. According to Entertainment Weekly, Alex is beyond excited to spend her first Valentine’s Day with a girlfriend. Maggie, however, is not keen on the holiday, and that leads to their first real fight as a couple. But to make it up to Alex, the police detective recreates a very special night.

Winn (Jeremy Jordan) is also getting some love in the episode. As seen in the preview clip, the IT whiz shares a kiss with a new female character. Jordan teased the identity of the mystery lady on Instagram last week.
