'Supernatural' Season 10 Spoilers: Episode 8 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In 'Hibbing 911'?
The Winchester brothers are taking a break from hunting down monstrous creatures until Season 10 of “Supernatural” returns with episode 8 next Tuesday. And according to the synopsis of “Hibbing 911,” the next installment of the hit CW series will be totally worth the wait.
The December episode includes everything one could want: the return of blood-curdling monsters and recurring characters. That’s right! Jody Mills (Kim Rhodes) will be dusting off her badge in “Hibbing 911” to help Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) take down one of the most dangerous “Supernatural” creatures to date.
The synopsis teases that Jody will reluctantly attend a mandatory sheriff’s retreat, where she gets partnered up with “an overeager sheriff named Donna (Briana Buckmaster) who wants to bond.” But their sisterly connection will be cut short when the two come across a mangled body.
“Just as Jody thinks things can’t get any worse, a body with just strings of meat and skin hanging off the bones is discovered,” the summary explains.
The local sheriffs will blame the gruesome find on an animal attack, but Jody, being the veteran supernatural-hunter she is, will call her favorite Winchester brothers to solve the bloody case. And the trio will turn into a foursome when Jody lets Donna get in on the mystical action.
“You ever think there are things out there?” Donna asks in a promo video for episode 8.
“Monsters,” Jody replies without an ounce of hesitation.
Donna will bring levity to the episode with her G-rated personality and wide-eyed outlook. Buckmaster’s role in “Supernatural” actually embodies the behavior of the sweetly hilarious characters in “Fargo,” which makes sense because Hibbing is a city in Saint Louis County, Minnesota – the same state where the Coen Brother’s film took place.
Tune in to “Supernatural” Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 9 p.m. EST to watch Sam and Dean try to solve another spooky case.
