‘Supernatural’ Season 11 Spoilers: Episode 4 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Baby’?
Buckle up, “Supernatural” fans, because the Winchesters will be hitting the road during episode 4 of the hit CW series. According to the Season 11 synopsis of the paranormal drama, Sam (Jared Padaleck) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will take a break from hunting down The Darkness (which has taken on the shape of a pre-teen named Amara) and start tracking down a creature “that feeds on hearts.”
“Werewolf…” Dean begins theorizing what kind of monster they’ll be facing in the upcoming installment in a promo video for episode 4. “Ghoulwolf! It’s a Ghoulpire! A Werepire…”
While we couldn’t help but giggle at Dean’s enthusiasm, Sam proves to be unimpressed with his brother’s zeal.
But it isn't just Dean’s gusto that will catch the eyes and hearts of CW viewers. The entire trailer for the forthcoming episode takes place in Dean’s beloved 1967 Chevrolet Impala – revealing that episode 4, titled “Baby,” will be the Impala-centric installment Jeremy Carver, the show’s showrunner, told fans about at 2015 San Diego Comic-Con.
“Seen entirely from the point of viewer of the Impala, Sam and Dean go on a road trip to fight monsters and demons,” the synopsis for “Baby” reveals.
Padalecki divulged to Entertainment Weekly in September that the Impala episode is “done in a very clever, ‘Supernatural’ way.”
“It’s all about the Impala,” he dished. “We’ve had this third lead character for 10 seasons strong and, we’re not revealing a personality, but we see just how much a part of the Winchesters’ lives it is.”
The actor noted that episode 4 would have a “little bit of everything,” from the “obligatory Sam-and-Dean-talk-over-the-hood-of-the-Impala” to “Sam-and-Dean-talk-in-the-Impala” and even a car-wash scene! That’s right, amidst all the werepire drama, the boys will find time to soap down the beloved vehicle.
