'Supernatural' Season 15, Episode 9 Preview: Sam And Eileen Face 'Brutal Truth'

Things are not looking good for the Winchester brothers in “Supernatural” Season 15, episode 9. According to the official plot synopsis, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Eileen (Shoshannah Stern) will face “brutal truth.” Meanwhile, Castiel (Misha Collins) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will work together to take on Chuck (Rob Benedict).

A preview video of the next episode shows Sam getting a glimpse of the future. The painful scenes show the monsters running free around the world. They will be too many for the brothers to stop, which essentially means that they will eventually lose the war.

The truth of what comes next for the brothers and the world will be shocking for Sam. One of the scenes of the future shows Dean on fire. Even Sam appears to be in some trouble in the future. Will the brothers sacrifice their lives in order to save the world?

Another trailer of “Supernatural” Season 15, episode 9 shows the possible sad ending of the show with the two brothers dying. Dean will be happy that the brothers will go down together in this seemingly unwinnable fight. Sam thinks of them as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

“All good things must come to an end,” the trailer states. The TV series will come to an end with the new season. “No doubt endings are hard, but then again…” the voice over in the video says towards the end.

Many of the fans are sad that the long running fantasy horror series is coming to an end. However, the show has set up the ending well and has prepared the fans to say goodbye by bringing in all the veteran actors from the previous seasons one last time to give the show a proper send off.

The previous episodes of the show have been released for the fans to watch for free on the CW app. “ Just act like you're from Tombstone.” The Twitter page of the TV series says while sharing the link to the latest episode.

“Supernatural” Season 15, episode 9 is titled “The Trap.” It will air on Jan. 15 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
