Eugeo’s surprising arrival in comatose Kirito’s dream helped in the latter’s revival. With Vassago threatening to kill all the Japanese players and the Underworld inhabitants, the awakened Kirito remains their last hope. "Sword Art Online: Alicization War Of Underworld" Part 2, Episode 19 will witness a battle in the Underworld featuring Kirito and Vassago.

The official website released the synopsis and spoiler stills for "Sword Art Online: Alicization War Of Underworld" Part 2, Episode 19 hinting at a battle between the awakened Kirito and Vassago.

However, Vassago has become extremely powerful as he manages to corner Kirito. Just when the villain’s Mate Chopper is set to slice him, a golden hand holds Kirito’s Night Sky Blade.

“Escaping his nightmares about Aincrad, Kirito regains consciousness at last. With the Night-Sky Blade in his right hand and the broken Blue Rose Sword in his left, he faces off against Vassago, armed with the Mate-Chopper, now enormous in size after absorbing the spatial resources of the dead," reads the synopsis. "Suffused with the amplified willpower of their collective hatred, Vassago’s sword attacks slowly but surely drive Kirito back. Just as the Mate-Chopper is about to cleave Kirito’s body into two, a glowing, golden hand grasps the Night-Sky Blade.”

In the previous episode, after a fierce duel between Sinon and Gabriel, the former is able to inflict severe damage on the latter’s new avatar – Subtilizer. Meanwhile, at the heart of the Underworld, Leafa collapses after killing an entire army of American Players. Asuna continues to struggle against Vassago, who is hellbent on fighting Kirito. In the meantime, Higa manages to bring Kirito back from his coma with Eugeo's help.
