‘SYTYCD’ Season 14: Will Koine Iwasaki, Marko Germar Perform In Live Shows?

“So You Think You Can Dance” Season 14 will see Koine Iwasaki performing with all-star Marko Germar on Monday night.

In the teaser released by FOX, Iwasaki is one of the two dancers in Germar’s team. Unfortunately, only one of them could compete as a top 10 finalist in the live shows, and Iwasaki plans to leave everything on the dance floor to earn this spot. Prior to her performance, Iwasaki and Germar talked about the former’s struggles, especially when she moved to the United States with her family. Since both of them are of Asian descent, Iwasaki and Germar did not have a hard time understanding each other.

When it was finally time to perform in front of the nine remaining all-stars, Iwasaki and Germar’s connection was also palpable. All-star Fik-Shun couldn’t help but give them a big round of applause at the end of their routine. Paul Karmiryan and Comfort Fedoke also cheered on the two dancers during their performance.

But it is still unclear whether or not Kawasaki will be the one to represent Germar’s team and work with him for the rest of the season. Only 10 contestants will have the opportunity to head to the live shows, and their all-star partner is the one who will make this tough decision. But after their performances in the live shows, the viewers will be the one to decide whether or not they should stay in the competition for another week.

The winner of “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 14 will bring home the $250,000 grand prize. The winner will also have the chance to eventually become an all-star in the future seasons. Gaby Diaz and Fik-Shun are just two of the all-stars who won their respective seasons. The other all-stars, like Alison Holker, Cyrus Spencer, Jenna Johnson and Fedoke, competed in the reality TV show during different seasons, but none of them brought home the grand prize.
