Tamar Braxton's 'Love and War' Ignites 'Tamar and Vince' Finale
Tamar Braxton is winning praise for the release of her first single off her sophomore album “Love and War” after it premiered on her reality show “Tamar and Vince.”
After the single was released on the season finale, many of her fans fluttered over to Twitter to celebrate it.
@loooove_nakitta wrote, “I looooooove BOTH hot sugar and love&war..hopefully the rest of the album isn't a mess though..MIGHT consider buyin it”
Love & War & Hot Sugar is my 2 New Favorite Songs :) #LoveIt@TamarBraxtonHer #TamarandVince,” @GorgeousxPaid tweeted.
@Team_SoBoojie posted, “Imma Learn The Words To Love & War And Hot Sugar.”
Tamar Braxton is an avid tweeter, so not only did she retweet some of her favorite posts from her fans, she also thanked her fans.
“thank you all for watching #tamar&vince and for buying #love&war its been sooo amazing!! love you all soooo much,” Braxton wrote.
Earlier in the week the reality star sat down with Celebuzz to discuss her show and new music.
“When Tamar & Vince first started, it was a lot to watch only because Vince and I was kind of going through something in our marriage,” Braxton told Celebuzz .
“And we had to get through that rough spot to get to where we are now,” she continued. “I’m so excited to see us grow as a couple and individually and you get to see me grow as an artist.”
“I’m just so excited, because you get to hear Love And War,” Braxton said about the end of the marital conflict.
“And I’ve been working really hard on this album to make sure it was up to my standards. Because in the past, I just felt like I’ve done music that was up to other people’s standards. Everybody wanted me to sing songs like [my sister] Toni [Braxton]. That’s not the kind of artist that I am.”
“I really wanted to make sure that you get to see my sassiness, my fun-ness and, you know, me popping and dropping. I’m definitely doing that,” the 35-year-old added.
Until recently, Tamar Braxton was best known as the younger sister of singing phenomenon Toni Braxton, who rose to fame with “Un-Break My Heart“ and “Your Makin’ Me High.”
In 2012 she landed her own reality show called “Tamar & Vince” on WE which followed the couple’s relationship and Tamar’s solo career.
Braxton’s currently untitled album is set to be released in February 2013.
