'Taraji and Terrence's White Hot Holidays': When And Where To Watch, List Of Performers And More For 'Empire' Special
Last week, "Empire" had it's fall finale and fans were left anxiously awaiting March to see what happens next with the Lyons. However, they won't have to wait long to see actors Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard return to their TV screens. The two will get to show their holiday spirit and continue their strong on-screen chemistry on "Taraji and Terrence's White Hot Holidays," which airs on Fox Wednesday night
The holiday special, which will premiere at 9 p.m. EST on Dec. 9, will feature several musical guests --including Mary J. Blige, John Legend and Jamie Foxx -- who will be performing their own versions of classic Christmas songs. Henson and Howard will also have their own musical duet and even take part in a few skits, including one where they pretend to be Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.
Henson and Howard will also be joined on stage by fellow "Empire" stars Jussie Smollett and Bryshere Y. Gray, who portray Jamal and Hakeem on the hip hop drama. Will all the Lyons perform a Christmas song on stage together in the hour-long special?
Aside from singing and acting on stage Wednesday, it appears there will be a moment when Henson and Howard exchange gifts with one another. The question is if they will be serious gifts or if they'll give each other a type of gag gift, like what Lucious and Cookie would likely do on "Empire."
Fans can catch the one-hour holiday special, "Taraji and Terrence's White Hot Holidays," on Fox Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 9 p.m. EST. The event will run until 10 p.m. EST. As Henson says in the promo video, "Christmas ain't nothing without some milk and Cookie." Watch a promo video for the concert event below:
