Tarek El Moussa Instagrams Picture Of Daughter Taylor After Split From Fellow ‘Flip Or Flop’ Star Christina
“Flip Or Flop” reality star Tarek El Moussa took to Instagram Wednesday after his split from Christina, his wife of 7 years. The real estate agent posed for a picture with his daughter, Taylor, days after they announced their breakup.
“Me and the #love of my life #crushing it!!! It's been a #crazy few days but we #love our kids soooo #much!! My #heart and #soul,” he wrote. His post was like thousands of times by his 81,500 followers.
A day before their split was announced Monday, El Moussa posted about fatherhood. She shared a picture of the book, “10 Things Great Dads Do: Strategies For Raising Great Kids,” which was written by Rick Johnson. “Raising kids is the most important thing a parent can do,” the “Flip Or Flop” star wrote. “Like anything in life... The harder you work at it the better they will be! I #LOVE THEM!”
The couple confirmed their split months after they got into a bizarre fight May 23. El Moussa left the house with a gun in his backpack and Christina called the police. Eleven cop cars and a helicopter were dispatched to find him after he jumped the fence in their backyard and walked into the woods. Possibly suicidal, it was later reported El Moussa brought the gun with him to protect himself from wild animals.
“Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage,” the HGTV stars said in a statement. “We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed. We chose to get counseling to sort out our relationship. Together, we have decided to separate while we reevaluate the future of our marriage. During this process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be. We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together.”
