Tarek El Moussa opened up about his thoughts on finding love again ahead of his wedding to Heather Rae Young and years after his divorce from Christina Haack.
The "Flipping 101" host, 40, and the "Selling Sunset" realtor, 34, are tying the knot this weekend, more than a year after getting engaged in July 2020. They celebrated with their loved ones at their rehearsal dinner Friday, Us Weekly reported.
Ahead of their Saturday nuptials, El Moussa took to Instagram to share loved-up photos of him and Young. In the caption, the HGTV star reflected on marrying Young after previously insisting he wouldn’t tie the knot following his past divorce.
"Ready to say 'I do.' Which is crazy," he wrote. "If you had asked me four years ago I would’ve told you I was never getting married again and honestly I didn’t even think I would find love."
He continued, "Then one day Heather jumped onto my boat, looked at me, smiled and the rest is history. Thank god for that day. My life is so much better with you in it… now let’s do this thing!!"
Young posted the same photos on her Instagram account, writing, "My forever. See you at the altar, my love."
In the snaps, El Moussa looked dapper in a black brocade blazer over a coordinating shirt. His fiancée wore a tulle Galia Lahav strapless dress and styled her hair in a side braid with white butterfly hairpins.
Fans and followers of the couple sent them their love and congratulated them ahead of the ceremony.
"Soo happy for y'all!!! Can't wait for wedding pics," one Instagram user commented.
"It’s the best when it’s least expected and not rushed. Wish you both all the best!!!" a second user wrote.
"YOU have never looked happier than you do now. Congratulations to you both," a third netizen commented on El Moussa's post.
El Moussa and Young met in July 2019 and began dating the following month. The "Flip or Flop" star proposed one year later during a getaway on Catalina Island.
El Moussa was previously married to his HGTV co-star Haack from 2009 to 2018. The two share Taylor and son Brayden, 6, and continue to co-parent their kids.
The "Christina on the Coast star," for her part, is engaged to Joshua Hall following her split from ex-husband Ant Anstead, with whom she shares 2-year-old son Hudson.
