Taylor Swift celebrated one year anniversary of the Grammy-winning album "Folklore" on Saturday and dropped an alternate version of the music track "The Lakes."
The 31-year-old singer took to Instagram to share two black and white photos of herself. In the first photo, she could be seen walking on the stones at a beach wearing a pair of black sunglasses. In the second photo, she looked into the camera while holding two cups of coffee.
Swift reflected on the COVID-19 pandemic that kept everyone isolated and how her lifestyle became simple.
"It's been one year since we escaped the real world together and imagined ourselves someplace simpler," she wrote in the caption. "With tall tall trees and salt air. Where you’re allowed to wear lace nightgowns that make you look like a Victorian ghost every day & no one will side eye you cause no one is around."
"It's just you and your imaginary cabin and the stories you make up to pass the time," she added.
The singer went on to thank everyone involved in the album's success and dropped the original version of "The Lakes" on her YouTube channel.
"To say thank you for all you have done to make this album what it was, I wanted to give you the original version of The Lakes," Swift wrote. "Happy 1 year anniversary to Rebekah, Betty, Inez, James, Augustine, and the lives we all created around them. Happy Anniversary, folklore."
The Instagram post was liked by more than two million users, including "Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds.
The music album was originally released on July 24, 2020, and consists of 16 music tracks, including "The 1," "The Last Great American Dynasty," "This Is Me Trying," "Exile" (featuring Bon Iver) and "My Tears Ricochet."
Swift was recently featured in the "Big Red Machine's" video from "How Long Do You Think It's Gonna Last?" music album. The music video dropped on July 2 this year.
Besides her music album, Swift will be seen in a comedy movie directed by David O. Russell. The movie also stars Anya Taylor-Joy, John David Washington, Margot Robbie and Robert De Niro in the lead roles.
