Not so fast Taylor Swift fans -- Sia is setting the record straight on her alleged use of blackface. In a social media post on Tuesday, the "Chandelier" singer defended herself against the stans.

"For the swift fans trying to make out that I would ever do blackface please see this video. I was painting myself into the backdrop, it was a pre cursor to the wig..." the 43-year-old tweeted.

Attached to the tweet was a YouTube video of Sia performing "Never Gonna Leave Me" at Thebarton Theatre in Australia back in 2011. For the performance, the Australian singer-songwriter can be seen sporting short black hair and a black top with a black board attached to her back. Her face and arms appear painted black as well.

It's been eight years since the act, but the accusations (stemming mostly from Swift fans) have only just surfaced, likely due to her support of Scooter Braun.

In response to Sia's tweet on Monday that read, "You're a good kind man @scooterbraun I hope this passes quickly. I love you keep going," one user asked, "Why did you do blackface?"

Sia is just one of the many celebrities that have spoken out in support of Braun after Swift called him out on Sunday.

The "ME!" singer slammed the 38-year-old in a lengthy Tumblr post after learning he recently acquired her former label, Big Machine Records, which gave Braun ownership of the master recordings of Swift's first albums.

Big Machine's Scott Borchetta shared his side of the story regarding the $300 million dollar deal and the country singer's masters. The only one who hasn't publicly spoken out to date regarding the drama surrounding the deal is Braun. And for good reason. Sources told Entertainment Tonight that the entrepreneur and talent manager want to speak with Swift in private regarding the matter. The insider added that Braun has reached out to her but has yet to hear back.
