Taylor Swift’s recent social media posts are making people both confused and excited. She first stayed away from Instagram for a while, but then shocked people by deleting all of her photos. Recently, she posted mysterious videos of what appeared to be a snake without giving any reason why.

A day later, she posted another video of the same reptile. It seems a bit random to a casual viewer, but Swift’s eagle-eyed fans were able to notice a significant reveal in the video.

If their guesses proved to be right, Swift’s posts just shared the release date of her newest single, since the number “25” was seen in the animal’s scales. That might mean that her new single will be released on Friday, Aug. 25, according to ET Online.

Swift has been keeping a really low profile over the past few months, and a source told Entertainment Tonight it’s because she is “really focused on working on her new music.”

The source added that Swift is not avoiding her fans, but is “just in focus mode.” “She’s spending time with her family... just doing her,” the insider continued.

At the same time, Swift might be making things work between her and new boyfriend Joe Alwyn. A different source earlier told E! News that Swift and Alwyn have been dating for a couple of months already, and her close friends and family have met her new beau. “This isn’t a new couple alert or a secret relationship. The only people this has been a secret to is the media because all of us – Taylor and Joe’s closest friends and their families – were aware they have been together for several months and have known each other for a long time,” the source said.

Swift has made headlines because of her long list of boyfriends. She has dated actors and fellow singers, and she even wrote several hits out of all these breakups. The most obvious one is the song “Dear John,” which is about “Love On the Weekend” singer John Mayer. “Back to December” was reportedly a tribute to actor Taylor Lautner, while “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” could be about Jake Gyllenhaal.
