Teacher Sent Nude Photos, Masturbation Video To Teen Student Before Sexual Assault

A Spanish teacher at a high school in Colorado was arrested for sexually assaulting a student, authorities said Tuesday. According to Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, Sarah Elise Porter, 24, was arrested Friday on charges of sexual assault on a child by someone in a position of trust and sexual exploitation of a child.

Authorities said the 16-year-old student reported the incident via an anonymous reporting system called Safe2Tell. The student said the teacher sexually assaulted him and also threatened if he resisted.

An investigation revealed that Porter sent her nude photos and video of her masturbating to the teenage student before forcing herself upon him. The student also claimed that the teacher kissed him in an office earlier this month. She continued to threaten him whenever he resisted her advances, authorities said. However, the exact nature of the threats remains unclear.

According to the arrest affidavit, Porter, who also worked as an assistant track coach at the school in Centennial, admitted to the school’s head track coach that she sent revealing photos to the student.

Porter was in custody in lieu of $25,000 bond. She was due back in court on Thursday, jail records show, according to the New York Post.

Local media KDVR obtained details of a report containing details of an alleged encounter between Porter and the student on March 8.

“They went into the office,” another student reported. “She turned out the lights and she grabbed him. She told him to follow along and something to the effect that ‘I will do something.’ He assumed she meant she would do something to his family or him. She started kissing him.”

Porter, who had been teaching at the school since August 2018, was placed on administrative leave and will not return to the Littleton Public Schools, a letter sent home to parents by the superintendent stated.

In a similar incident, a former Texas high school teacher was arrested recently after she was accused of sending explicit videos of herself to a male student on Snapchat. Kelsie Koepke, 25, was charged with having an improper relationship with a student, while being employed at Paetow High School in Katy, Texas. In this case also, the teacher sent nude photos and masturbation videos to the student.
