Ted Nugent Threatens Obama: 'I'm A Black Jew At A Nazi-Klan Rally,' Rocker Says [VIDEOS]
Right-winged rocker and Mitt Romney surrogate Ted Nugent likened himself to a black Jew at a Nazi-Klan rally after appearing on a radio show defending his speech at an NRA convention, where he said he would either be dead or in jail if Barack Obama gets re-elected president.
The comment about the president is being looked into by the Secret Service. Nugent, a fervent gun rights advocate, hunter and Republican, denies threatening Obama.
See, I'm a black Jew at a Nazi-Klan rally, and there are some power-abusing corrupt monsters in our federal government that despise me because I have the audacity to speak the truth to identify the violations of our government, particularly [Attorney General] Eric Holder and the president and [Treasury Secretary] Tim Geithner, ad nauseum, Nugent said on Dana Loesch's radio show.
Nugent's appearance on Loesch's show and his remarks at the NRA convention can be viewed below.
Democrats, led by U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), who doubles as the head of the Democratic National Committee, were calling on Romney and Republicans to denounce the comments Nugent made at the NRA convention in St. Louis over the weekend.
Romney has yet to speak about Nugent's speech.
Nugent told the NRA convention, If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.
The remark was taken as a threat to the president by most observers and a Secret Service spokesman said the agency would be looking into Nugent's comments.
Nugent did not just attack Obama during his NRA speech; he also called the Obama administration vile, evil, and America-hating.
He stood by his speech, calling it 100 percent positive. It's about we the people taking back our American dream from the corrupt monsters in the federal government under this administration and the communist czars he's appointed. And if anyone has a problem with that, call 1-800-NUMBNUT and Michael Moore will try to explain it to you as he searches for soap.
Romney surrogate Ted Nugent's comments about Pres. Obama are vile & beyond the pale -- and the Romney campaign should denounce them immediately, Wasserman Schultz tweeted Monday.
Nugent denied making any threats.
I have never in my life threatened anyone's life. I'm incapable of threatening anyone's life, Nugent told Loesch. Because I'm all about positive change, my entire speech, all my articles.
The explosive comments are not the first controversial statement from the potty-mouthed, conservative Nugent.
In a 1994 interview with Westword magazine, Nugent called then-First Lady Hillary Clinton a toxic c---, a b---- and a two-bit whore.
You probably can't use the term 'toxic c---' in your magazine, but that's what she is. Her very existence insults the spirit of individualism in this country. This b----is nothing but a two-bit whore for Fidel Castro, Nugent said.
In the same interview, Nugent derided Haitian immigrants who were fleeing their unstable homeland for the United States and slammed American immigration policy in general.
We should put razor wire around our borders and give the finger to any piece of shit who wants to come here, Nugent said.
Franklin D. Roosevelt's policy was another target of Nugent's criticism, with the rocker deriding the Great Depression-era president's policies in an interview last year with Salt TV.
The Great Society was a Numbnut Society and the New Deal was a Raw Deal, he said.
It seems no group or person is spared from Nugent's wrath. He took aim at the Republican Party in the Salt TV interview, calling the GOP a bunch of wimps for being too inclusive.
They've been so concerned about having a big tent that they've let evil in the tent, he said.
