Teen Choice Awards Nominations Announced, 'Vampire Diaries' Leads The Pack

The first round of Teen Choice Awards 2012 nominations has been announced and the CW's hit The Vampire Diaries is leading the pack. The show, starring Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder, scored six nominations total.

The Hollywood Reporter released a full list of the first wave of nominations. Justin Bieber, Tom Cruise, Zoe Saldana, Salma Hayek, LL Cool J and Kat Graham are all on the ballot.

As predicted, The Hunger Games scored some Teen Choice nominations, including Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy for Josh Hutcherson and Choice Movie Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy for Jennifer Lawrence. Liam Hemsworth lost out in a Hunger Games-specific nomination, but he is nominated for Choice Male Hottie. Girlfriend Miley Cyrus is nominated for Choice Female Hottie.

Justin Bieber snagged five nominations. Bieber appears in June issue of GQ magazine. GQ magazine interviewed Justin Bieber, who is now 18-years-old, to find out the answer to a particularly pertinent question Is he a man? GQ sent Drew Magary out with the Canadian superstar to spend a night in L.A. with him the day after his 18th birthday. First impression? Justin Bieber is a very small human being. He's 18, but he could easily pass for someone six years younger. His rep says he's five feet nine, but he looks about four feet four, maybe one hundred pounds. Guess size does not matter when it comes to the Teen Choice Awards.

One of the most exciting categories in the Teen Choice Awards is the Fashion category. This year, the Choice Fashion Icon: Female category includes Miley Cyrus, Zooey Deschanel, Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry. Jennifer Lopez's American Idol wardrobe surely puts her at the top of the bunch. The Bronx bombshell has worn everything from bold neon to gladiator-inspired to a snake around her neck.
