'Teen Mom 2' Star Javi Marroquin Refuses To Meet Chris Lopez

“Teen Mom 2” star Javi Marroquin wasn’t interested in meeting Chris Lopez, the father of Kailyn Lowry’s third child. Marroquin, who was previously married to Lowry, has a good relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Jo Rivera, but that’s because they have Isaac in common. Isaac is Lowry’s oldest son and lived with Marroquin when they were married. The MTV reality star doesn’t have anything to do with Lowry’s third child, and Lopez doesn’t have anything to do with Marroquin’s son, Lincoln, who is Lowry’s middle child.

“Kail tried to get me to meet him one day,” Marroquin, 24, told Radar Online in an exclusive interview Monday. “But he doesn’t do anything for my son to provide for him. He doesn’t take care for him so to me there is no reason to.”

“I told her if things change and I see consistency in my son’s life and in her life then maybe, but as of right now there is no need to,” he said. “I’m sure Lincoln sees him and knows who he is, but as far as providing for him he doesn’t so.”

While he has no interest in forming a relationship with Lopez, things are fine between him and Rivera. “I live right next to Jo now,” Marroquin said. “We’re neighbors. It’s really convenient for drop offs and pick-ups. It makes things easier. Our relationship is great. Me, him and Vee [Torres] get the kids together all the time. It’s crazy how times have changed.”

One of the reasons Lowry, 25, and Marroquin divorced was because she didn’t want to have more children with him. At the time, she said she wanted to focus on her career. Their divorce was finalized in December. She announced her pregnancy two months later.

Co-parenting between the pair was rocky, especially since Marroquin accused Lowry of cheating, but they’ve since smoothed out their problems — for now.

“We have a very unique relationship,” he explained. “Right now everything is great. I can call her anytime to say, ‘Hey let’s go to dinner.’ She does the same. Right now no issues. We have a unique dynamic.”

Lowry and Lopez have not picked a name for their son, who was born Aug. 5. “We don’t have a name at all and we don’t have any ideas either,” she told Radar when her son was born. “I feel like everything we thought we liked doesn’t fit him.” Legally, the couple had until Sept. 5 to name their child, but has not announced his name.

Lowry and Lopez haven’t reignited their relationship and the “Teen Mom 2” star said she wasn’t interested in dating.

“I’m not really thinking about that,” Lowry told Radar Online last month “I just want to focus on the new baby and getting the other boys adjusted to having the baby in the house.” She added: “There is no dating for me right now,” Lowry told Radar. “I think that’s out of the question.”
