‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Jenelle Evans’ Assault Arrest Reportedly Caught On Video
The August arrest of “Teen Mom 2” star Jenelle Evans was reportedly caught on camera, Radar Online reported Monday. The police call her ex-boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, made that day was shared by the publication.
The film, which was shot by police officers and not MTV’s cameras, will be used as evidence at her trial. Evans’ lawyer, Amy Loving, is waiting for the prosecution to give them “the evidence -- reports, videos, etc.” so Loving can review them.
Evans, 24, was arrested after she allegedly assaulted Griffith’s new girlfriend, Jessica Henry. Griffith had gone to Evans’ home to pick up some of his things. When Evans noticed Henry in his vehicle, she allegedly ran outside and threw a Mason jar at Henry’s head. The MTV reality star was charged with third-degree assault and battery.
Evans maintains she is innocent. However, police said they doubted her version of events.
Evans said she was upset with MTV when the trailer for Season 7 came out. She claimed the network shows only the negative things in her life, and “forever” shows the picture of her mugshot. She even threatened to quit the show. “I’m really angry about the f---ing trailer that was aired,” she told the publication in a different story. “They make David look bad and myself!”
Since Evans’ split with Griffith, she has moved on with her new beau, David Eason. He will be featured in the new season of the show.
“Teen Mom 2” Season 7 premieres Monday, March 21, at 10 p.m. EST on MTV. Watch the official trailer below:
