It appears marital discord will be a running theme throughout “Teen Mom 2” Season 6. Leah Calvert discusses her marriage problems with now ex-husband Jeremy in the new season’s first trailer and Kailyn Lowry has it out with her husband, Javi Marroquin, in the latest promo.

In a teaser for the upcoming season titled “Kailyn’s Real Life,” MTV reveals that Kailyn will be at the breaking point in her marriage of almost two years to Javi.

“I have nothing to hide from you Javi,” Kailyn says as Javi looks on teary-eyed. Kailyn adds that she feels their marriage is doomed, admitting they’re on the “verge of getting [a] divorce.”

“I’m very close to my breaking point,” Kailyn says as several shots of her crying flash on the screen. After Javi is heard saying "get out of my face," Kailyn responds by telling her husband that she is “humiliated” and feels as if he is “smothering” her.

While MTV is making it appear as if Kailyn and Javi are on the outs, Javi recently shot down the divorce rumors on Instagram. “You guys are really gonna see a different side of us this season that I’m not looking forward to,” he posted Friday. “There was a point in our marriage that was extremely difficult.”

Javi added a special message to Kailyn, writing, “P.S. It’s behind us babe. We made it.”

A recent social media post from Kailyn appears to support Javi’s comments. Last month, Kailyn shared photo of her 5-year-old son Isaac, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Joe Rivera, hugging Javi. “... I don’t give this man enough credit for being a second father figure for Isaac,” Kailyn captioned the Instagram post. She added how grateful she was that he accepted Isaac from “day one” and always “treated him as if he was his own."

Kailyn, who welcomed son Lincoln with Javi in November 2013, said she couldn’t imagine a better dad for her boys. “Looking through my camera roll and in tears at how lucky I am to have my husband for my boys. Thank you for EVERYTHING you do for this family,” she wrote.

“Teen Mom 2” returns Thursday, July 9, at 10 p.m. EDT on MTV. Check out the full Season 6 trailer here.
