'Teen Mom' Jenelle Evans Speaks Out After Her Husband David Eason Allegedly Kills Their Dog
"Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans' husband, David Eason, allegedly killed their family dog on Tuesday after it reportedly "snapped at" their 2-year-old daughter, Ensley.
"The horrific incident thankfully did not happen in front of the kids," a source shared with E! News. "Jenelle has been distraught all day over it."
Evans was emotional about the situation, posting a photo of herself and their dog Nugget on Instagram Wednesday. "Nugget... I’m crying every day. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless," reads the caption. "You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons."
She continued, "Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here when I go to bed... you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back. #Heartbroken #Distraught."
Meanwhile, David wrote on Instagram that he is "all about protecting" his family, calling it his "life's mission." He wrote, "Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME."
Evans and Eason, who initially met in 2015, married in 2017, and have had a fair number of ups and downs during their relationship. During one of their rocky points in October 2018, police were called to investigate an alleged assault at the couple’s home.
Evans said at the time, according to E!, “It was a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding. Everything is great...We are totally fine.”
