‘Teen Mom’ Maci Bookout Opens Up About Daughter Jayde ‘Sassypants’ Carter; Shares New Photos

“Teen Mom OG” star Maci Bookout is adjusting well to life as a mom of two. The MTV reality star opened up about her daughter Jayde Carter, whom she has nicknamed “Sassypants,” and shared new photos Friday.

According to the 24-year-old reality star, Jayde, who will be 4-months-old Wednesday, is a lot different from her 6-year-old son Bentley. “Bentley was very chill, easygoing. Jayde’s a bit more dramatic,” she told Us Weekly, saying that her daughter has a noticeable "attitude."

And while the two siblings couldn’t be more different, Maci says Bentley, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Ryan Edwards, has flourished in his role as a big brother. “He just crawled into bed and was petting her,” Maci said of Bentley’s reaction to meeting Jayde. “It was the sweetest thing in the whole world.”

Maci says her son has helped out in taking care of his little sister, but is anxiously waiting for her to be older enough to play sports. “He’s always saying, 'I can’t wait until I can teach her how to play baseball and swim,'” she said.

Bentley isn’t the only one helping Maci in the parenting department. Maci says her boyfriend — and rumored fiancé — Taylor McKinney has been a great partner. “Taylor has taken to fatherhood wonderfully,” she dished. “He’s actually changed quite a few poopy diapers.”

The Us Weekly spread includes photos of Maci posing with Jayde, Bentley and Taylor, but this isn’t the first time viewers have caught a glimpse of the youngest “Teen Mom OG” star. Maci previously shared photos of baby Jayde on Instagram in July. The images, which were later deleted, according to the Ashley’s Reality Roundup, were captured by Brittany Photographs, a Chattanooga, Tennessee, based photographer.

Maci and Taylor welcomed Jayde on May 30. The couple announced they were expecting on Season 5 of MTV’s “Teen Mom OG” in April. Watch the duo announce the big news to the show’s crew in the trailer below:
