‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Amber Portwood Takes Anti-Bullying Stance After Farrah Abraham Feud
“Teen Mom OG” reality star Amber Portwood took a stance against bullying. The Indiana native took to Instagram Thursday to share her view, which occurred after her infamous fight with co-star Farrah Abraham.
“Bullying is never OK,” the picture read. The post was liked more than 18,000 times by her nearly 100,000 followers. The message generated hundreds of comments from people who watch the reunion special where Portwood tried to hit Abraham.
But Portwood didn’t perseverate on bullying or Abraham. She followed up her bullying message with a picture of her 2016 Christmas tree. This year, she and her fiancé, Matt Baier, opted for a real tree. “Love our Christmas Tree this year,” she wrote Friday. “Haven't had a real tree in years! Smells so good.”
Even though she’s looking forward to Christmas now, Portwood, 26, got into a massive fight with Abraham at the reunion, which was filmed in October. She was displeased with the way MTV edited the episode, accusing Abraham’s father, Michael, of putting his hands on her fiancé.
“So they cut out Michael literally screaming in my face calling me a bitch and him putting his hands on Matts neck!! After 8 years this is so disrespectful,” she penned Monday. “I've worked too hard on myself to take this kind of disrespect.” The post was liked more than 20,000 times by her followers. For the picture, she chose a quote that read, “That is pure bulls----.”
For her part, Abraham, 25, claimed MTV favored her because she worked harder during a Thursday interview with Us Weekly.
By Friday, it was unknown if “Teen Mom OG” was renewed for a new season.
There is good new for fans who like “Teen Mom 2,” though. The Season 8 of franchise will return to MTV Monday, Jan. 2 at 10 p.m. EST.
