'Teen Mom: Young And Pregnant' Star Rachel Beaver's Sister Arrested For Domestic Violence
Legal troubles must run in the family for "Teen Mom: Young And Pregnant" star Rachel Beaver.
The reality star's sister, Malorie Beaver, 20, was arrested for domestic violence over the weekend. A police report obtained by The Sun, states that the incident occurred between an intoxicated Malorie and her grandmother, Janice Bollen, 65, on Saturday, Feb. 1.
According to the report from Madisonville Police Department in Tennesse, Malorie "fell" into a door which woke up her 1-year-old daughter Emerson, causing her to cry.
"Ms. Bollen advised she picked up the infant child to comfort her and Ms. Beaver insisted on taking her to the bedroom," read the report. "Ms. Bollen reluctantly gave Ms. Beaver her child, as she was concerned about her falling. She advised Ms. Beaver began being loud and it scared the child so she wanted to sit in her lap, which hurt Ms. Beaver's feelings."
The report continued, "She advised Ms. Beaver began saying bad things about her and then grabbed her arm in an aggressive manner twice."
Janice then threatened to call the police if Malorie laid hands on her again, but Malorie "told her to go ahead and continued to be verbally aggressive toward her."
According to authorities, the young mother "appeared to be intoxicated due to her being unsteady on her feet and having slurred speech."
The "Teen Mom: Young And Pregnant" star was arrested for domestic assault and held on a $1,000 bond. She is no longer in custody.
This isn't the first time someone related to Rachel has been in trouble with the law. The parents to both Rachel and Malorie have both recently made headlines for their legal woes. The girls' mother, Stephanie Bollen and her previous court battles for failure to pay child support surfaced in October 2019.
Court documents revealed that the Human Resources Department sued Stephanie in 2008 for the recovery of child support for her daughters. The claim stated that she "failed, neglected, or refused to provide adequate and timely support for said minor children."
A month later, word got out that their father, Jason Beaver, was arrested for possession of heroin. He was charged with felony counts of Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance and Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance after a Sept 25 traffic stop.
