Teen Is Raped Twice In One Night After Flagging Second Man For Help
A 15-year-old girl was reportedly raped twice Tuesday by two different men, one of whom she flagged down for help after the first attack. The incidents occurred at a train station in Birmingham, England late Tuesday evening and into the early hours of Wednesday morning. A double manhunt led by both British Transport police and West Midlands police was underway as authorities attempted to locate the two men behind the attacks.
The initial attack reportedly occurred around 7 p.m. at the Witton railway station, the Guardian reported Thursday. The young woman walked to the station with a friend but was led away to a secluded area by a man described as being in his early 20s.

After the first assault, the teen reportedly attempted to stop a passing car for help, at which time she was raped a second time by a different man upon entering his vehicle. The second man was also described as being in his early 20s.
Police were notified after the young woman returned to her home, the Evening Standard reported Friday.
“This was a horrifying ordeal for this young girl and we have specially trained officers supporting her,” said Detective Chief Inspector Tony Fitzpatrick of British Transport Police in a statement. “It is now vitally important we investigate exactly what happened on Tuesday morning as well as identifying offenders for both of these awful incidents.
“My detectives are currently examining all available CCTV in an effort to identify the offenders and whilst these enquiries are made, we are keen to speak with any potential witnesses,” he added. “Whilst this incident happened during the early morning and there may not have been many people around, I would be keen to speak with anyone who may have been in the area at the time.”
Both attackers were described as Asian men. The first man — who was around 6 feet tall — reportedly had light skin, brown eyes and was dressed in a tracksuit with black sneakers. The second man was described as between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-7 with a large build. He wore a blue jacket with black jeans and had a “tight-cropped beard,” according to the Guardian.

The BBC reported Thursday that surveillance footage from the station was seized. Fitzpatrick urged any parties who were witness to the attacks or passing by the area at the time they happened to contact the authorities.
“If you were passing by the station and saw two girls walking with an older man, then please get in touch immediately,” he said. “Likewise, if you saw any suspicious vehicles close to Witton station close to 2am then please get in touch as soon as possible.”
He added, “We are now doing all we can to trace the people responsible and bring them to justice.”
