One of the suspects responsible for robbing and killing Juan Fresnada has been arrested earlier this week.

18-year-old Abu Conteh was taken into custody Tuesday and charged with murder and gang assault after surveillance video showed him and five other men attacking the 60-year-old Fresnada on Christmas Eve.

Fresnada was with his husband in the Bronx when they were approached by six men and demanded money, said ABC News, citing a report from the New York Police Department.

The men attacked the couple after they refused to give them their wallets, it added.

A surveillance video released by authorities Friday showed one of the suspects punching and kicking Fresnada in the face. Another suspect hit the victim with a metal garbage can.

The suspects fled the scene with a measly $1 that they took from the victims.

Fresnada's husband refused medical attention at the scene, while he was transported to a local hospital. Fresnada died three days after the brutal assault.

Conteh was slapped with second-degree murder charges and gang assault in the first and second degree.

Police also released another video that depicted the suspects' faces and were able to identify two more individuals involved in the crime, pointed ABC News in another article, citing local sources.

NYPD has declined to confirm the reports, it added.
