‘Tekken 7: Fated Retribution’ Miguel To Exact Revenge On Jin Kazama; Shows Raging Moves In New Trailer
A familiar face has been confirmed to be joining the action in “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution.” Apparently, rebellious Spaniard Miguel is back and he seems to be in no mood for some fun as he is returning to exact revenge on the people responsible for the death of his sister.
According to DualShockers, “Tekken 7” Producer Katsuhiro Harada confirmed the inclusion of Miguel — full name Miguel Caballero Rojo — in the upcoming game at Barcelona Games World. Alongside the confirmation is Bandai Namco Entertainment’s release of the trailer that features the returning character.
In the trailer, Miguel could be seen grieving the loss of his sister, who appears to have been killed during her wedding. After unleashing his despair through a shout, Miguel could then be seen sporting a more aggressive look as he is about to engage in a fight in the following scene.
The official description of the trailer reads: “The rebellious Spaniard has returned for ‘Tekken 7’ to continue his quest for revenge, looking for those responsible for his beloved sister’s death.” This covers quite well why Miguel is enraged and is quite belligerent in his attacks in the promo clip.
In a separate report, DualShockers states that Miguel is blaming the Mishima zaibatsu for the demise of his sister, so he plans to exact revenge on Jin Kazama in the upcoming installment that is said to be focused on the conclusion of the Mishima clan saga.
Per previous reports, “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” is going to feature the darkest storylines in the franchise, and it will also provide the anticipated conclusion to the feud between Heichachi Mishima, Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama. With the arrival of Miguel, it seems Jin has another character to watch out for.
As per GearNuke, the upcoming game is also going to provide answers to the origins of the Devil Gene. It’s also been confirmed that “Street Fighter’s” Akuma has a special role in the main storyline of “Tekken 7.”
Miguel is a returning character who made his debut appearance in “Tekken 6” alongside a slew of characters, namely: Alisa, Bob, Lars, Leo and Zafina.
“Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” is slated for release for the PS4, Xbox One and PC in the first half of 2017. No exact date has been announced as of late.
