Teresa Giudice Divorcing Husband Joe? ‘Marriage May Be Over,’ Source Claims

Teresa and Joe Giudice will be celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary in October, but there may not be a celebration anymore as a new report claims that she might be planning to file for divorce from her husband.

In 2016, Joe started his 41-month prison sentence for conspiracy and bankruptcy, but his absence in the family might become permanent. A source told Us Weekly that the “Real Housewives Of New Jersey” star is contemplating on leaving the man she once referred to as “the love of my life.” “The marriage may be over,” the insider said.

In 2016, Teresa claimed that “‘strong’ is my middle name” after completing her 11-month prison stint and that her time away from her husband made her realize that she’s tough. When it was Joe’s turn to serve time in prison, she relied solely on her mom, Antonia. The source revealed that Antonia came over to her daughter’s home every day to help her out. However, the former passed away in March, forcing the reality star to make another realization. “Teresa’s still standing,” the insider added. “She’s learned she doesn’t need Joe.”

The Bravo star is reportedly not sure anymore if she still wants to be with her husband. In fact, she has been telling her friends that she loves her independence. “She’s becoming used to being quite free while Joe is away at prison,” claimed the insider.

As for Teresa’s four daughters, Gia, 16, Gabriella, 12, Milania, 11, and Audriana, 7, she distracts them by keeping them busy with extracurricular activities. “They have adjusted to life without Dad in the house,” the insider added.

In the past months, rumors surfaced that Teresa cheated on Joe while he is serving at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey. However, her lawyer debunked the reports, calling them “fake news.”

“[The cheating rumors are the] embodiment of fake news,” Teresa’s lawyer, James J. Leonard, told People. “All sizzle and no steak. There’s no truth in [any suggestion of] an affair.”

In 2016, Joe and Teresa also addressed the cheating rumors claiming that he had affairs with other women while she was in jail. The reality star defended her husband and explained that no woman came up to her and admitted that he cheated on her. Teresa also said that she knew all the women who were photographed with her husband.

“I feel bad for him in a way. Because the poor guy, you know, he’s not doing that,” Teresa explained. “Joe trusts me, he knows I’m faithful, I know he’s faithful and that’s all that matters.”
