The unveiling event for the Tesla Semi in November featured a surprise guest: the new Tesla Roadster 2.0. Tesla streamed the event online but until Thursday, video of the event hadn't been posted in its entirety online for those who missed the stream. Now it’s available and you can watch the exact moment Musk shocked the crowd with the new Roadster.

Of course, he played it cool. After thoroughly explaining all of the details of the Semi, Musk concluded his presentation by saying, “So that’s the Tesla Semi, I hope you guys enjoyed what you saw,” and thanked the crowd before heading into it to shake some hands.

As he walked the front row of attendees shaking hands, a Tesla Semi pulled across the stage and the lights behind it dimmed. When they came back on following a voiceover and clip from the movie “Spaceballs” exclaiming “We’ve gone to plaid!” a Tesla Roadster was rolling out on stage in a thick cloud of smoke.

The little sports car zipped around the stage as the crowd whooped and cheered it on and Musk reappeared arms up in triumph. “Turns out there was some cargo in the truck...We thought we’d bring it out,” he said to the crowd before explaining the history of the Roadster.

Musk went on to explain that the Roadster 2.0 will be “the fastest production car ever made.” The car travels from zero miles per hour to 60 mph in under two seconds and zero to 100 mph in 4.2 seconds. “These are all world records, ok,” he said to the audience. After explaining more details about the car like when it should be available and how many seats it has, Musk invited the audience up on stage to take a closer look.

The four-seater convertible vehicle is set to become available 2020 for those who have a spare $200,000 to $250,000 to spend on the vehicle. Tesla is now taking orders.
