Teyana Taylor and her fiancé Iman Shumpert welcomed a baby girl on Wednesday, Dec. 16. The rapper and actress announced the news Thursday on her Instagram page by sharing a photo of the back of her daughter's head.

According to the "Google Me" rapper, she gave birth in the bathroom of her home before being transported via ambulance to the hospital. Taylor and Shumpert named their new bundle of joy, Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr., after the 25-year-old NBA star. Click HERE to see the photo.

“She came out as a wonderful surprise to everyone! Not knowing I was in labor until I felt her head… it took two 10 count pushes with my fiancé playing Dr and she entered this world into his bare hands," Taylor wrote. "Eyes full of tears and barely able to speak to the emergency operator @imanshumpert tied a pair of red headphones around the umbilical cord and the ambulance made there grand entrance five min later.”

The 25-year-old continued, "She opened her eyes right away, gazed into mine and never cried! He handed her to me wrapped in our bath towel and wiped her face for me to see what LOVE really is. She has blown Christmas away! Or family is complete. Her blueprint will be unmatched.”

As previously reported, Taylor and Shumpert announced they were expecting in September following months of speculation. Speaking to Karen Civil (via Madame Noire), Taylor explained that she and the Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard waited to announce the baby news because they wanted it to be "special."

“It was never a secret. We as parents-to-be wanted the moment of people finding out we were expecting a child to be special," she said. "This is not a story or an exclusive -- it’s a celebration of life, and that should be respected. We don’t want any negative light put on someone so innocent and so precious.”

During Taylor's baby shower last month, Shumpert surprised her and her guests by getting down on one knee and proposing with a massive ruby ring. Of course Taylor said yes, but the two have not announced a wedding date yet.
