T.I. Says Trump Doesn’t Deserve Respect, Tells Steve Harvey To ‘Get Out’

Following Snoop Dogg’s “Lavender” music video and Bow Wow tweeting that he would “pimp” first lady Melania Trump, Steve Harvey took to his radio show to ask for respect for the president. But after the “Family Feud” host’s comments made their way online, T.I. responed on social media.

After the Baller Alert Instagram account posted about Harvey’s statement, T.I. could be found in the comment section saying Trump does not deserve respect. “We respect those who respect US. We respect those who respect themselves,” he wrote.

The rapper also had a warning for Harvey, hinting that the television host may be in “Get Out’s” sunken place — a brainwashed state which represents being marginalized in society. “Emergency msg to u my brother… #GETOUT,” he wrote, referencing Jordan Peele’s hit horror film.

In Snoop Dogg’s video for “Lavender,” the rapper can be seen pointing a fake gun at a parody of Trump, but according to Harvey, the black community needs to “be smart about this.” The TV hosts said while Snoop has the right to express himself, he must be careful when talking about the president.

“The problem with all this that there is an office in this country called ‘the president,’ and you have to respect the office. You really do. Whether you want to or not. You have to respect the office. They got laws. I would hate for anything to come down,” Harvey said.

Harvey also took offense to Bow Wow’s tweet, saying Melania does not need to be messed with. “You start messing around with this man’s wife — who ain’t in this at all. The hell that comes down with messing with this man’s family, is great. Y’all got to be smart, man.”

T.I. hasn’t been afraid to diss Trum in the past. After the president tweeted about Snoop Dogg’s music video, the “Us or Else” rapper took to Instagram and unleashed a number insults aimed at Trump, calling him a “tangerine tanned muskrat scrotum skin, lacefront possum fur wig wearing, alternative fact, atomic dog.”
