Tinsley Mortimer Quits ‘Real Housewives Of NYC’ For ‘Prince Charming’ Scott Kluth
During the Thursday night episode of “The Real Housewives of New York City” Season 12, viewers found out that Tinsley Mortimer would be leaving the Bravo series. The shocking news comes after she decided to move to Chicago to be with her now-fiancé, Scott Kluth, who lives in the Windy City.
Following the episode, Tinsley shared a series of photos and videos on her Instagram account featuring moments with members of the “RHONY” cast.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all my fans and friends who supported me and are happy for my fairy tale ending,” she wrote in the caption of the images.
“Without #RHONY, I would never have met my prince charming, Scott. Being a Housewife was such a fun experience, and I thank @bravoandy and all the wonderful people at Shed Media and @bravotv,” she added.
During the episode, Tinsley opened up to Leah McSweeney about her decision to leave New York City. “Is there physically like a ring or something right now? No. Is that definitely happening, are we getting married? I just know it,” she said.
“I will be moving to Chicago, I’m not sure exactly when but I know that we are going to be together, and I know we are going to make this work.”
Before confirming her decision to leave the show, a source previously told Us Weekly that Tinsley planned to move to Chicago for Scott. “She is moving for love. This is a very happy time in her life right now, and everyone is rooting for her and Scott,” the insider told the publication in November 2019.
“They have addressed all their issues and no longer want to live without each other. She is very, very happy!”
Tinsley met Scott during “RHONY” Season 7 after the two were introduced by her former co-star, Carole Radziwill. Throughout their relationship, Tinsley and Scott have broken up several times because of the distance.
However, it appears that Tinsely’s big move to Chicago will finally end their long-distance relationship problems.
“The Real Housewives of New York City” airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
