Tiny And T.I.’s Separation Temporary; Divorce Not Pushing Through?
Tiny (real name Tameka Cottle Harris) has filed for divorce from T.I. (real name Clifford Joseph Harris Jr.), but sources close to the two say that their separation might not push through.
A source reportedly told E! News that the two are just going through a rough patch and that it looks like they will be back in each other’s arms soon. They even celebrated Christmas together. “One minute they love each other and the next minute they want to kill each other,” the source said.
The two have always had an on-and-off relationship, according to another source, and Tiny’s filing for divorce is just “normal.” A different source told TMZ that Tiny’s filing for divorce was a “threat” to her husband so that he would “stop his shenanigans” with other women. The source added that T.I. did not exactly hide having a girlfriend while he was still with Tiny.
Tiny filed for divorce earlier this month, saying they are currently living separately and that their marriage has been “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.” The singer-songwriter has filed for primary physical custody and joint legal custody of their minor children. Tiny also filed for temporary and permanent child support and alimony.
Tiny’s filing for divorce came a few days after rumors that she and T.I. are having marriage problems surfaced. A Facebook post supposedly made by Tiny made many believe that she admitted to cheating on T.I. In the post, the singer supposedly said that she deserved to do something for herself after everything T.I. has put her through. Tiny later denied owning the Facebook page that posted the status.
Tiny also posted a quote on Instagram, prompting many to believe that she was hinting at marital problems. In the post, Tiny said: “If everybody can have it, I don’t want it.”
T.I. and Tiny have been together since 2001.
