T.J. Miller’s “The Gorburger Show” has just been cancelled by Comedy Central after one season.

Miller voiced the titular character of Goburger in the series, which was an extension of the 2012 “Funny or Die” show. Goburger is a blue monster that took over a Japanese television station. Miller also served as executive producer of the show, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The announcement came just hours after the actor was accused of sexual assault. However, a source from the network said that their decision has been finalized earlier this year and way before the accusations against Miller were made public.

On Wednesday, an unnamed victim claimed that Miller sexually assaulted and hit her when they were still studying at George Washington University. “He just tried a lot of things without asking me, and at no point asked me if I was all right. He choked me, and I kept staring at his face hoping he would see that I was afraid and that he would stop… I couldn’t say anything,” the unnamed woman told the Daily Beast.

Following the woman’s allegations, Miller released a statement and denied that he did anything wrong to her. According to the “Silicon Valley” star, the woman started spreading rumors about him online after he and his wife Kate’s relationship became public.

“It is unfortunate that she is choosing this route as it undermines the important movement to make women feel safe coming forward about legitimate claims against real known predators,” he said.

Miller also released a joint statement with his wife and said that they will stand together to prove that the woman’s allegations are false. “We stand together and will not allow this person to take advantage of a serious movement toward gender equality by allowing her to use this moment to muddy the water with an unrelated personal agenda,” they said.

According to the Daily Beast, Miller has also joked about committing violence against a woman in his past that’s why a lot of people refused to work with him in the comedy world. The publication noted that this may be why people thought the actor was physically abusive.
