Tom Hiddleston's Fiancée Zawe Ashton Pregnant, Debuts Baby Bump At Premiere: Report

Zawe Ashton and fiancé Tom Hiddleston are pregnant and expecting their first child together, according to multiple reports.

The 37-year-old British actress debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie "Mr. Malcolm's List" in New York City Wednesday night, Page Six reported.

The actress, who plays Julia Thistlewaite in the period drama, walked the red carpet in a beige bead-embellished tulle gown by Sabina Bilenko Couture, according to Vogue.

The magazine confirmed Ashton's pregnancy and shared photos of her showing off her baby bump during her glam session before the event. An unnamed source also told Page Six that the actress is pregnant.

The "Loki" star was not present at the premiere. Ashton was joined by co-stars Freida Pinto, Sope Dirisu, Theo James and Sianad Gregory, as well as director Emma Holly Jones.

Ashton's pregnancy comes weeks after Hiddleston seemingly confirmed that they are engaged during an interview with the Los Angeles Times earlier this month.

"I'm very happy," the "Avengers" actor told the publication when asked about their engagement.

Hiddleston and Ashton first sparked engagement rumors back in March when they walked the red carpet together at the 2022 BAFTA Awards. At the time, the actress was photographed wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger.

The couple didn't directly address the engagement rumors at the time, but multiple outlets, including Page Six, confirmed that same month that Hiddleston had proposed after three years of dating.

Hiddleston, who previously dated actress Susannah Fielding and Taylor Swift, opened up about his desire to keep his private life separate from his work as an actor back in 2017.

"I love what I do, and I dedicate myself with absolute commitment to making great art and great entertainment, and in my mind, I don’t conflict the two," he told The Telegraph at the time. "My work is in the public sphere, and I have a private life. And those two things are separate."

He doubled down on his comments in a 2019 New York Times interview, where he shared that he had started to rethink the way he spoke about his private life publicly.

"I’m protective about my internal world now in probably a different way. That’s because I didn’t realize it needed protecting before," he explained.

Hiddleston and Ashton met while working on the 2019 West End revival of "Betrayal," where they played married couple Robert and Emma. They made their red carpet debut as a couple in September 2021 during the annual Tony Awards.
