Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney proved they can remain amicable exes as they reunited for lunch over the weekend.
The "Vanderpump Rules" stars were photographed grabbing lunch in Los Angeles Saturday – days after announcing that they have called it quits after 12 years together.
In photos obtained by TMZ, the former couple hit up Mister O's in Studio City. They sat at a table in a back corner on the outside patio and ordered drinks.
Maloney, 35, and Schwartz, 39, both donned casual outfits for the outing. Schwartz wore gray sweatpants, a long-sleeved T-shirt and green slides, while Maloney sported a striped sweatshirt and chunky jewelry.
Schwartz posted to his Instagram Story a photo of Maloney sipping on a dark purple cocktail during their lunch date. She reposted the snap and captioned it, "[It's] all good."
Maloney also said she was "feeling really loved and supported" when a fan asked her how she was doing in an Instagram Q&A, according to Page Six.
Although they grabbed lunch together, an unnamed eyewitness told TMZ that Maloney and Schwartz seemed "disinterested in each other" and often looked at their cellphones while at the restaurant.
The eyewitness also claimed that there was "zero evidence of affection" between the exes. Maloney and Schwartz reportedly only talked during their "fairly long" lunch date at the eatery.
Schwartz and Maloney announced their split Tuesday in separate posts on their respective Instagram accounts.
"After 12 years on an adventure through life together, Tom and I are ending our marriage. This ending is not met with resentment or animosity, no sides to choose. We have deep admiration for one another that will always remain and we cherish our friendship," Maloney wrote.
Schwartz, meanwhile, shared throwback photos of them and said that they had "healthy, productive conversations" with each other before splitting.
On Friday's episode of her "You're Gonna Love Me" podcast, Maloney said that her decision to end their marriage had been "building up" for months and was in no way "abrupt."
"It got to a point where it felt like I was going to burst. For months it was building up," Maloney explained. "I felt disconnected, I felt like I was drifted away further and further, I felt like I was drifting. And I couldn't stop it."
Maloney admitted that breaking up with Schwartz was the hardest and most painful decision she's ever had to make but that she pushed through with the split because she was no longer happy and fulfilled in their marriage.
"I love Tom, we built a life together, and he was my person and I wanted to be him with forever. But ultimately, I just wasn't happy," she said.
Maloney and Schwartz started dating in 2010 and got married in front of Bravo cameras in August 2016, though they didn't file the official paperwork to be legally wed until 2019.
