Toni Braxton and Birdman are continuing to fuel rumors that they’re dating. First linked as a couple in May, the rumored lovebirds stepped out together for the BET Awards presentation in Los Angeles Sunday. The two were described as inseparable the entire night.

Sources told People magazine that the rapper Birdman, 47, and the singer Braxton, 48, stayed by each other’s side once inside the Microsoft Theater and posed for several photographs together. The media outlet also reported that the rumored pair looked “blissful” backstage and were seen holding hands as they left.

When asked at the BET Awards show about the romance rumors, the “Respek” rapper replied by telling People that they were “just chillin’.” According to the magazine, a Braxton representative confirmed the speculation is true and that the “Hurt You” singer is dating Birdman.

The two performers were first linked as a couple when they were spotted together at a Braxton’ concert in the Brooklyn borough of New York last month. The “Braxton Family Values” star also brought him onstage during a show in Atlanta this month. In a video posted by TMZ, Braxton called Birdman her “boo” and blew kisses at him.

Even though Birdman and Braxton have been silent about the romance rumors, the singer’s mom, Evelyn Braxton, had a lot to say about it and appears to be on board with the potential relationship. “He’s a nice man,” she said on “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show.” “I don’t care what others say about him. He is a nice man. He is full of respect.”

Evelyn also revealed on the radio show that Birdman has been a family friend for years. “I met him years ago. Toni been knowing him ... 15 years ago. something like that,” she said. “Ever since I’ve been knowing that man, he’s been phenomenal.” Toni’s sisters, Towanda Braxton and Trina Braxton, echoed their mother’s sentiments, saying on the radio show that the rapper was a “nice guy.”
