'Jackass' star Ryan Dunn, 34, and passenger Zachary Hartwell, 30, both of West Chester, Pennsylvania, died of blunt and thermal trauma due to car accident in the pre-dawn hours on Monday, according to city officials.

Jackass star Ryan Dunn and a passenger in his car died in a traffic accident on Monday morning, shocking everybody.

The cause of Ryan Dunn's death has been determined as blunt force trauma and thermal trauma, and his car was driving at roughly 130 mph.

The Chester County coroner reported Tuesday that Jackass star Ryan Dunn and passenger Zachary Hartwell that blunt force trauma and thermal trauma were the official causes of death for both men.

According to police reports, by the time they arrived at the location of the crash, MTV Jackass Star Ryan Dunn's 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 was fully engulfed in flames. Both Dunn and a male passenger were dead at the scene. Dunn's body was reportedly so badly burned that he was only able to be identified by his tattoos. Police is yet to identify Dunn's co-passenger.
