Tori Spelling Lied About Losing Baby Weight, Has A Sex Tape With Husband
Tori Spelling apparently lied about how she lost weight after the birth of her son Finn in August 2012, she confessed in her new memoir, “Spelling It Like It Is.” According to Us Weekly, the former “Beverly Hills 90210” star has served up some juicy revelations and admitted to lying about her 45-pound weight loss.
In April 2013, the mother of four told the news site she battled her post-pregnancy bulge through a “healthy” diet of fish, vegetables anf soups in combination with “sensible” snacks like edamame, avocado, hummus and rice cakes. But in reality, the 40-year-old essentially starved herself.
"I really don't exercise much, period," she wrote in the book, according to Us Weekly. "So I took off my weight the old-fashioned way. I like to call it the Just Keep Your F--king Mouth Shut and Eat Air diet. It's all the rage."
Spelling explained she lied because she didn’t think her fans would want to hear the truth about how she got back in shape. "My publicist had given me clear instructions about what to say about my weight loss," she wrote in the memoir. "Women didn't want to know that I had lost weight through dieting, not exercising. I didn't want to be the a--hole who didn't work for it. So I said that I swam. It was sort of a bad choice. I can't do much more than a doggy paddle."
The news site unearthed a April 2013 quote about swimming. "I don't count laps. I'll swim until I'm sore or play Marco Polo with the kids instead,” Spelling said previously. "My doctor suggested I try swimming. It's good for the whole body and low-impact since you're weightless.”
Spelling has been in the tabloids her book “Spelling It Like It Is” dropped on Oct. 22. Inside, the starlet also revealed that a sex tape she made with husband Dean McDermott was also stolen, according to Us Weekly.
"Dean said, 'We should tape ourselves having sex,'" she wrote. "He had a little portable tripod, and he set up his video camera on it." Apparently the couple didn’t password-protect the video on their home computer and a “friend” began to shop the video around.
Though the video hasn’t gone public, it has reportedly leaked. Spelling said she was “horrified.”
