  • Torino FC hopes to quash all interest in Gleison Bremer by raising his wage
  • Liverpool is believed to be the frontrunner to acquire Bremer
  • Tottenham also has Bremer on its wish list

Torino FC is aware of the growing interest in Gleison Bremer, with Tottenham and Liverpool hot on the Brazilian center-back’s tail.

With Bremer undoubtedly one of the best players that Ivan Juric has at the moment, II Torino FC has reportedly tripled the salary of the Brazilian defender with hopes of diffusing interest by the Spurs and the Reds, Tuttomercatoweb reported.

Bremer has shown that he can be a superb offensive threat for the Serie A side, finding the back of the net 11 times in 88 appearances as of this writing.

His showing has gained the interest of Antonio Conte to possibly join Tottenham, Calciomercato reported.

However, Tottenham is not the only one keeping tabs on Bremer’s situation. Liverpool and Napoli are two other clubs that are also interested in the Brazilian.

Both clubs could also step up their bids for the Brazilan center-back as early as the January transfer window.

Inter Milan is another club that reportedly fancies Bremer, someone who can help reinforce their defense.

Nerazzurri is reportedly ready to sell most of its players who are on expiring deals. Rather than lose them for nothing, Inter Milan is expected to try and deal them away and hopefully get something in return.

Of the teams mentioned, it was suggested that Liverpool was leading the race for Bremer before the sudden raise he received from his home club.

Unfortunately for these aforementioned teams, Torino FC appears bent on spoiling their intentions with a tripled salary.

Aside from that, the deal is believed to be something that would last until 2024.

With Bremer peaking at this stage of his career, the growing interest in him is understandable.

After being signed in 2018 for £5.22 million ($7.07 million), it remains to be seen if the tripled salary will be enough to fend of clubs that dream to acquire the services of the Brazilian.
