North Korea is one of the most isolated nations on earth. Unsurprisingly, the country is not a tourist hot-spot and some countries including the U.S have warned their nationals about visiting the country.

With the warnings and possible dangers what type of people are game enough to pack their bags and visit North Korea?

Michelle FlorCruz reveals what she learnt about the people she meet and why she came to the conclusion that North Korea isn’t for everyone-especially Americans.

Being one of the youngest in the group, Michelle admits she was feeling “young and naïve” about being in North Korea. She also gives advice to people wanting to visit the nation, by saying that the trip would best be enjoyed with company.

While Michelle didn’t ‘fall in love’ with North Korea, and isn’t planning a trip back anytime soon she did love the experience and all the different types of people she had the opportunity to meet.
